TOMATO CHUTNEY
Tomato

Tomatoes – 6

Red chillies – 8

Methi – ¼ tsp
-
Urad dal – 1 tsp
-
Rai – ¼ tsp
-
Turmeric – ¼ tsp

Salt
-
Tamarind pulp – 2 tbls
-
Hing
-
Coriander leaves 1 tbls
-
Cut tomatoes and fry in 2tsp oil.

Roast rai, methi, urad dal, hing and let them cool and grind them.
-
Grind tomatoes, tamarind pulp, turmeric, salt and the roasted and ground spices.
-
Temper with ½ tsp urad dal rai, red chilli, curry leaves hing and turmeric fried in a little oil.
