TOMATO CHUTNEY

Tomato
  • Tomatoes – 6

  • Red chillies – 8

  • Methi – ¼ tsp

  • Urad dal – 1 tsp

  • Rai – ¼ tsp

  • Turmeric – ¼ tsp

  • Salt

  • Tamarind pulp – 2 tbls

  • Hing

  • Coriander leaves 1 tbls

  • Cut tomatoes and fry in 2tsp oil.

  • Roast rai, methi, urad dal, hing  and let them cool and grind them.

  • Grind tomatoes, tamarind pulp, turmeric, salt and the roasted and ground spices.

  • Temper with ½ tsp urad dal rai, red chilli, curry leaves hing and turmeric fried in a little oil.
