Usha Charloo's Recipes

SABUDANA KHICHRI

Potatoes – 2 medium

Sabudana – 11/2 cups

Oil – 3 tbls
-
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
-
Hing
-
Green chillies – 2
-
Salt – 2 tsp
-
Sugar – 2 tsp
-
Lemon juice – 3 tbls
-
Peanuts – 11/4 cupsdry roasted peanuts
-
Coriander leaves – to garnish
-
Soak sago overnight in just enough water which comes just a little above the sago.

Boil and skin potatoes and cut them into ½’cubes.
-
Heat oil in a pan. Add hing and jeera. After cumin seeds pop add potatoes and sago.

Stir for 2 minsand add peanuts and then rest of the remaining ingredients.

Mix until sago is transparent.
-
Garnish with coriander leaves.
