SABUDANA KHICHRI

  • Potatoes – 2 medium

  • Sabudana – 11/2 cups

  • Oil – 3 tbls

  • Cumin seeds – 1 tsp

  • Hing

  • Green chillies – 2

  • Salt – 2 tsp

  • Sugar – 2 tsp

  • Lemon juice – 3 tbls

  • Peanuts – 11/4 cupsdry roasted peanuts

  • Coriander leaves – to garnish

  • Soak sago overnight in just enough water which comes just a little above the sago.

  • Boil and skin potatoes and cut them into ½’cubes.

  • Heat oil in a pan. Add hing and jeera. After cumin seeds pop add potatoes and sago.

  • Stir for 2 minsand add peanuts and then rest of the remaining ingredients.

  • Mix until sago is transparent.

  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
