RIPE RED CHILLI CHUTNEY

Ripe Red Chilli
  • Ripe red chillies – 6

  • Rai – 1 tsp

  • Methi – ¼ tsp

  • Urad dal – 1 tsp

  • Hing

  • Tamarind – 2 tbls

  • Turmeric – ¼ tsp

  • Salt

  • Heat a little oil and add rai when it splutters add methi, urad dal. Add turmeric and fry until urad dal and methi turn brown.

  • Heat a little oil and fry the ripe chillies.

  • Grind all the above with tamarind and salt.

  • Temper with ½ tsp urad dal rai, red chilli, curry leaves hing and turmeric fried in a little oil.
