RAVA IDLI

Rava – 1 cup
-
Cut green Chillies – 4-5
-
Ginger -- 1’

Cut coriander leaves – 1 tbls
-
Yoghurt – ½ cup
-
Cashew nuts – 10

Curry leaves – 6-7
-
Rai – ½ tsp
-
Chana dal – 2 tsp
-
Baking soda – 1 tsp
-
Heat oil and fry rai, once it splutters add chana dal and fry.

Add curry leaves, cashew, ginger and fry until cashew turns brown.

Add rava and roast for 10 mins. Let it cool.

Add 1 tsp salt and baking soda.

To prepare idlis take yoghurt and add water and the rava idli mix. Make it like idli batter and pour them in greased moulds and steam them.

The dry mixture can be stored as well for later use.
