KOOTU
-
Urad dal – 1 tbsp
-
Red Chillies – 2-3
-
Jeera – 1 tsp•Coconut – 4 tbls
-
Moong dal or toor dal – ½ cup
-
Any vegetable( palak, snake gourd, beans, choyote)

Cook moong dal or toor dal.

Cook the vegetable in little water.

Fry urad dal.
-
Grind urad dal, coconut, chillies and jeera.
-
Mix all the above and boil. Switch off the stove and season the kootu.

Seasoning- heat oil add urad dal, jeera curry leaves and hing
