IDLI

  • Idli rice – 2 cups  // par boiled rice – 2 cups

  • Regular rice – 2 cups // long grain rice – 3 cups ( hot water)

  • Urad dal – 1 cup // urad dal – 1 cup

  • Soak idli rice and urad dal separately in in cold water.

  • Soak regular rice in hot water.

  • Soak the ingredients overnight.

  • Grind the ingredients the next day.

  • Mix well and add salt.

  • Leave the batter to ferment overnight.

  • Pour idli batter in idlis moulds and steam it for 7-8 mins.
