Usha Charloo's Recipes

DOSAKAYA PACHHADI
Cucumber
-
Rai -- 1/2 tsp
-
Jeera -- 1/4 tsp
-
Red Chillies -- 5 or 6
-
Methi -- 1/8 tsp (6 to 8 seeds)

Hing -- 1/8 tsp
-
Urad Dal -- 2 tsps
-
Green Chilles -- 2 (Optional)

Cut Dosakaya into small pieces.

Roast rai, jeera, urad dal and methi. Keep them aside
-
Roast red chillies in a little oil.

Add green chillies to the red chillies towards the end of their roasting
-
Grind all the ingredients with less then 1/2 cup of cut dosakaya pieces.

Add the rest of the cut pieces of dosakaya to the ground mixture above and mix well
-
Temper with rai, jeera, red chillies, urad dal, kadi patha, and hing.
