DOKLA

  • Chana dal – 1 cup

  • Urad dal – ¼ cup

  • Rice – 2 tsps

  • Curds – ½ cup

  • Chillies – 2

  • Ginger – ½"

  • Baking soda – ¼ tsp

    • Chutney for dokla: Ingredients:

      • Coriander leaves – some

      • Green chillies – 2-3

      • Ginger – ½"

      • Peanuts – ½ cup

      • Garlic – 1 clove

      • Fresh Coconut – 2-3 tbls

      • salt

      • Fresh lime juice

  • Grind coarsely the dals,chiilis ,ginger and rice with curds.

  • Add baking soda and salt to the ground mixture.

  • Steam the mixture and cool it.

  • Turn over the dhokla onto a plate and cut it into pieces.

  • Heat oil and add mustard seeds, curry leaves and hing and sprinkle over the pieces.

  • Cut coriander and garnish on the piecesChutney -- Method

  • Roast peanuts.

  • Grind all the ingredients except lime.

  • Add lime juice
