Usha Charloo's Recipes

DOKLA
-
Chana dal – 1 cup

Urad dal – ¼ cup
-
Rice – 2 tsps
-
Curds – ½ cup
-
Chillies – 2
-
Ginger – ½"

Baking soda – ¼ tsp
-
Chutney for dokla: Ingredients:
-
Coriander leaves – some
-
Green chillies – 2-3
-
Ginger – ½"
-
Peanuts – ½ cup
-
Garlic – 1 clove
-
Fresh Coconut – 2-3 tbls
-
salt
-
Fresh lime juice
-
-
-
Grind coarsely the dals,chiilis ,ginger and rice with curds.

Add baking soda and salt to the ground mixture.
-
Steam the mixture and cool it.
-
Turn over the dhokla onto a plate and cut it into pieces.
-
Heat oil and add mustard seeds, curry leaves and hing and sprinkle over the pieces.

Cut coriander and garnish on the piecesChutney -- Method

Roast peanuts.

Grind all the ingredients except lime.

Add lime juice
