DABBAKAYA GOJJU

  • Urad dal – 1 tsp

  • Methi seeds - 1 tsp

  • Mustard seeds – 1 tsp

  • Red whole chillies – 3 or more according to taste

  • Desiccated coconut - 1 tblsp

  • Hing

  • Jiggery – ½ tsp

  • turmeric

  • Tamaring – lemon size

  • Dabbakaya – 1 – take out the juice

  • kadipatha

  • Dry roast the above ingredients and powder them together.

  • Take 3 cups water and add tamaring juice and boil for 10 mins. Add the powder and mix well. Add turmeric. Boil for 10 mins.

  • Then add dabbakaya juice. Boil for another3 mins.

  • Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard and jeera seeds. Add hing and kadi patha and pour this into the rasam.
