DABBAKAYA GOJJU

Urad dal – 1 tsp

Methi seeds - 1 tsp

Mustard seeds – 1 tsp

Red whole chillies – 3 or more according to taste

Desiccated coconut - 1 tblsp

Hing
-
Jiggery – ½ tsp
-
turmeric
-
Tamaring – lemon size
-
Dabbakaya – 1 – take out the juice

Dry roast the above ingredients and powder them together.

Take 3 cups water and add tamaring juice and boil for 10 mins. Add the powder and mix well. Add turmeric. Boil for 10 mins.

Then add dabbakaya juice. Boil for another3 mins.

Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard and jeera seeds. Add hing and kadi patha and pour this into the rasam.
