CHINESE SWEET AND SOUR VEGETABLES

  • Any three kinds of vegetables- carrots/French beans/cauliflower/cabbage/peas/corn – 3 cups diced

  • Salt

  • Noodles boiled – 1 cup

  • Garlic – 2 cloves

  • Soya sauce – 1 tblsp

  • Corn flour – 2 tsps

  • Sugar – 1 tblsp

  • Chilli garlic sauce – ½ tsp

  • Oil – ½ ladle

  • Pepper- ¼ tsp

  • Vinegar – 2 tsps

  • Boil the vegetables in 31/2 cups of water and keep the stock ready. Vegetables can also be sauted in oil first and then boiled.

  • Heat oil in a pan and add garlic pieces. Add the stock. Mix corn flour in cold water and then add the paste to the stock.

  • Keep stirring. Add sauces, salt, vegetables and finally the noodles.
