CHANA

Garbanzo beans – 500 gms
-
Baking soda – 1 tsp
-
Salt – 1 tbls
-
Besan – 4 tblsp
-
Dhania – 1 tbls
-
Jeera – ½ tblsp
-
Chilli pwd – 2 tbls
-
Dry mango pwd – 1 tblsp
-
Garam masala – 1 tsp
-
Tomato paste – 2 tblsp
-
Soak chana previous night.
-
Pressure cook chana with salt and baking soda.
-
Heat oil ( 1 big ladle) and fry besan till it turns golden brown.
-
Add dhania, jeera, chilli pwd, garam masala and fry until the mixturns golden brown.
-
Add some water and chana and boil for 10 mins.
