CHANA

  • Garbanzo beans – 500 gms

  • Baking soda – 1 tsp

  • Salt – 1 tbls

  • Besan – 4 tblsp

  • Dhania – 1 tbls

  • Jeera – ½ tblsp

  • Chilli pwd – 2 tbls

  • Dry mango pwd – 1 tblsp

  • Garam masala – 1 tsp

  • Tomato paste – 2 tblsp

  • Soak chana previous night.

  • Pressure cook chana with salt and baking soda.

  • Heat oil ( 1 big ladle) and fry besan till it turns golden brown.

  • Add dhania, jeera, chilli pwd, garam masala and fry until the mixturns golden brown.

  • Add some water and chana and boil for 10 mins.
