CASHEW VANILLA BARFI

  • Cashew – 1 cup

  • Sugar –1 cup

  • Milk – enough for soaking

  • Coconut powder – some to sprinkle

  • Vanilla essence – 1 tsp

  • Saffron – some for flavor and colour

  • Ghee -- 1 cup

  • Mix sugar and cashew with milk and set it low fire.

  • Keep stirring for a few mins and then addsaffron and essence.

  • Keep adding ghee as it becomes thick.

  • Keep mixing until it becomes like a thick ball. Do not let it burn.

  • Turn it over on a plate and flatten with a bowl.

  • Cut it into pieces after 20 mins.
