Usha Charloo's Recipes

CASHEW VANILLA BARFI

Cashew – 1 cup
-
Sugar –1 cup
-
Milk – enough for soaking
-
Coconut powder – some to sprinkle
-
Vanilla essence – 1 tsp
-
Saffron – some for flavor and colour

Ghee -- 1 cup
-
Mix sugar and cashew with milk and set it low fire.

Keep stirring for a few mins and then addsaffron and essence.

Keep adding ghee as it becomes thick.

Keep mixing until it becomes like a thick ball. Do not let it burn.
-
Turn it over on a plate and flatten with a bowl.
-
Cut it into pieces after 20 mins.
