AYYAPPA PAYASAM

Rice – 1 cup
-
Jaggery – 1 cup
-
Coconut milk – 1 tin
-
Dry ginger pwd – 1 tsp
-
Cashew- 10
-
Raisins – 10
-
Cardamom pwd – ½ tsp
-
Cook rice.
-
Melt jiggery in ¼ cup water.
-
Add cooked rice to the melted jiggery and let it boil for 10 mins.

Add coconut milk and nuts and mix well.
-
Add cardamom pwd and turn off the stove.
