AYYAPPA PAYASAM

  • Rice – 1 cup

  • Jaggery – 1 cup

  • Coconut milk – 1 tin

  • Dry ginger pwd – 1 tsp

  • Cashew- 10

  • Raisins – 10

  • Cardamom pwd – ½ tsp

  • Cook rice.

  • Melt jiggery in ¼ cup water.

  • Add cooked rice to the melted jiggery and let it boil for 10 mins.

  • Add coconut milk and nuts and mix well.

  • Add cardamom pwd and turn off the stove.
