ALMOND PISTACHHIO DATE DELIGHT

  • Spring rolls

  • Cardamom pwd

  • Butter – 2 tblsp

  • Pitted dates – 1 pkt

  • Chopped Pista nuts – ½ pd

  • Condensed milk – ½ tin

  • Cut dates into small pieces.

  • Add condensed milk to the cut dates and cook in a sauce pan over slow fire.

  • When the blended mixture thickens add pista pieces, cardamom.

  • Mix all the ingredients together and stir for a few minutes till the mixture starts leaving the sides.

  • Cool the mixture and place it on a wooden board. Roll into a long tight roll.

  • Take aluminium foil and dust it with icing sugar. Wrap it with the foil and place it in the freezer.

  • Once the roll is set, cut it into round pieces.

  • These pieces can be stored in the freezer.

  • The round discs can be wrapped in spring roll sheets and fried as well.
